A rare group of naturalistically carved cattles - bull and cow - standing on a shaped wooden plinth. Carvend by Johann Huggler around 1870 in Brienz, Swizerland. The muscular animals are carved in lindenwood and have been finished with realistic details. The plinth itself is slightly domed at the center and bears elements like rock's, trunk and plants. Carved signature "J. Huggler Brienz" on the base. A great addition to a traditional decor in your home or an office setting. They perfectly can be displayed on a desk or vitrin.
