A set of six antique Black Forest (Capreolus capreolus) deer trophies on wooden plaques with black finish. Originating from the stately home of Palace Salem in South Germany. All trophies were shot by members of the family of Margrave Maximilian of Baden. All trophies feature paper lables on the back with handwritten inscription of hunter, date and place of the hunt. Germany 1870s.
