A set of six antique Black Forest deer trophies on wooden plaques with dark green finish. Originating from the stately home of Palace Salem in South Germany. All trophies were shot by members of the family of Margrave Maximilian of Baden. All trophies with handwritten inscription on the scull featuring date and place of the hunt as well as the family crest. Germany 1840s - 1850s.
