Exceptional Large Bauhaus Floor Vase by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for WMF ca. 1950

A very rare floor vase designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld in 1950 and manufactured by Wuertembergische Metalworks (WMF). Thick handblown turmalin glass with two handles. Wagenfeld is one of the most importand industrial designers of the 20th century. He studied on the Bauhaus from 1923 till 1930 and worked from 1949 till 1977 as freelancer for WMF. He designed seveal objects during his work for WMF. The turmalin glasses are among the most famous designs. This example is very rare and hard to find today.
