A vintage art glass candle holder with aqua (light blue) and yellow color layers and a clear glass coating. The entire surface is decorated with horizontal, light grinding. Designed by Paolo Venini and manufactured by Venini Murano Venice in the 1950s. Venini model number 4809. The base bears the three-line acid-etched signature “venini murano ITALIA”.  This model was exhibited on the 28th Venice Bienale in 1956.

The creations of Venini were honored with several awards. Till today Venini is one of the leading art glass manufacturies on Murano.
