Toni Zuccheri (1937 – 2008) moved to Venice with his family in 1945. There he enrolled at the Academy of Architecture and studied under Franco Albini, Ignazio Gardella, Carlo Scarpa and others. In the early 1960s, he began studying and working at Venini, where he collaborated with Gio Ponti. His designs are among the iconic designs for Murano glass, especially the animal sculptures for Venini. He also worked with Barovier & Toso, Salviati & C., De Mayo, Seguso Viro and Veart, among others.
