A rare art glass vase from the 'Scolpiti' series. Designed by Tony Zuccheri in 1967 and manufactured by Venini, Murano Venice. Consisting of a rectangular body made of dark blue opaque glass with two vertical stripes of crystal glass. It features the engraved signature 'venini italia' on the base. This design was exhibited at the 8th Macef in Milan 1971.

Toni Zuccheri (1937–2008) was born in 1936 and moved to Venice with his family in 1945. There he enrolled at the Academy of Architecture and studied under Franco Albini, Ignazio Gardella, Carlo Scarpa, and others. In the early 1960s, he began studying and working at Venini, where he collaborated with Gio Ponti. His designs are among the most iconic designs for Murano glass, especially the animal sculptures for Venini. He also collaborated with Barovier & Toso, Salviati & C., De Mayo, Seguso Viro, and Veart.
