Large Filigree Glass Plate designed by Tarmo Maaronen for Bianco Blu Glassworks, Fiscars Finnland. Handmade clear glass with turned blue and white filigree lines. Incised signature "Designed for the City of Helsinki by Tarmo Maaronen" on the base and company lable on the top.

A passion for glassblowing lives the Finnish artist Tarmo Maaronen. Born in 1963 in the Finnish glass town of Nuutajärvi, there was no other mission in life for him than to deal with glass art. He was in Italy for many years. Let himself be inspired by the Italian glass art and organized, among other things, several exhibitions of his own. Since 1997 he has been back in Finland working for Bianco Blu Glass Studio, enchanting his followers with stunning art glass.
