It is unframed and in good condition.
Peter Robert Keil (*1942) is a German painter and sculptor.
In the early phase of his artistic career, Peter Keil oriented himself stylistically towards German Expressionism. With his stay in Paris at the beginning of the 1960s, his style changed. It increasingly developed away from a realistic approach and towards a more spontaneous and dynamic style of painting, which he later developed further in London and finally as part of the Berlin Neue Wilde at the beginning of the 1980s. Keil often used intense to garish colors and dispensed with realistic representationalism. The color of his paintings is applied with quick and rapid brushstrokes and occasionally impasto, and the motifs of his paintings are repeatedly alienated by graffiti elements.
