who is artfour?
this site is run by markus mix (artfour) and maximilian fritz (alte dekorationen).
we are professional and in the antique business for over 35 years.
we are committed to excellence and always try to treat our customer's right.
we specialize in antique hunting furnishings, antique fantasy furniture and black forest wood carvings since several years.
we are member of the art & antiques club munich (münchner antiquitätenmarkt e. v.) and of the
association of bavarian second hand dealers (Verein der Gebrauchtwaren-Händler in Bayern e.V.; Westendstraße 90
80339 München). artfour is holder of a master card since 1997 and credit card acceptance partner for amex,
master card and visa card since 2001. alte decorationen is holder of an amex card since 1983.

how can i pay?
we accept credit card (master, visa, amex), check (personal check, international
money order, personal money order) or wire transfers in euro.
all payments must be cleared funds in our account before delivery.
you`ll receive the necessary information for payment with our invoice.

how do you ship?
delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the world.
smaller items are shipped with dhl premium service. shipping lasts app. 2-4 weeks upon the day of shipment.
larger items are shipped with air freight to your next international airport (cfr) or to your door as agreed.
by request we also may collaborate with your own shipping service.

how do you pack?
in several years of international trade we have optained a great experience in packing.
we always use bubble foil, double boxing, styrofoam chips and robust cardboard boxes as necessary.
larger items are shipped in pallet boxes or wooden cases.

is my shipping insured?
all shipments are insured. in case of a damage or loss we refund the money to the customer
or will repair the item at our expense. in case of damages caused by the shipper the customer may be asked
to claim the damage to his local postal service.

how do you describe your items?
we are experienced with antiques, but are not professional appraisers.
we always try to describe condition, repairs or restaurations as accurate as possible.
if we state an age in our description, it is correct to the best of our knowledge.
please consider that most antiques will show some wear as they are old and have been used.
in some instances there might be prior repairs that we are not aware of.

do you have a return policy?
we grand refund to the customer in case of wrong descriptions (e. g. regarding size, age or condition of the item).
the customer bears the costs for the reshipment.

where can i visit you?
our showroom with over 10.000 sq ft is located in the north of munich, south germany.
you are welcome to visit us there.
we advise customers to phone and check if the showroom is open before setting out on a journey.
if desired we`ll send you a journey description with map.
we also will help you to find hotel rooms if needed.

are your items original antiques or reproductions?
we only sell original antique or vintage items and allways specify the age as accurate as possible.
we guarantie for the authenticity of all items we sell. we do not sell reproductions!
