A large impressive Black Forest stag head, handcarved in Austria ca. 1900. Mounted on a wooden carved wall plaque and with a large pair of real deer antlers. Handcarved in the area of Ebensee, Austria by one of the famous woodcarvers of this region most probably one of the Heissl carvers or Josef Loidl. An outstanding decoration for every Alpine chalet or log cabin.
