an uneven 8 pointer black forest deer trophy from the palace of salem in south germany. shoot by a member of the lordly family of Baden in 1876. handwritten inscriptions on the skull with, place of the hunt, family crest and date. mounted on a nice wooden plaque with inventory number and stamped family crest on the back. good condition. paint on the plaque partly peeled off.
