Expressive carved wooden sculpture of a hunter standing by a stub with his staghound holding a shot hare. An outstanding fine lindenwood carving - executed most probably by Johann Huggler (1861-1943), Swiss Brienz ca. 1900. Similar statues are illustrated in Black Forest Woodcarvings by Peter F. Blackman on page 147.
