An exceptionel and large antique lusterweibchen chandelier with hand carved and painted statue of a medieval lady fixed on a large pair of deer trophys with hand forged iron suspension and 6 handforged candle spouts. Blazons with crests of the city of Ulm and Wuertemberg. Executed in Germany circa 1870. 

The archetype of this lusterweibchen is the world famous "beauty of Ulm", carved by Michel Erhart circa 1475. Erhart is one of the most famous woodcarvers of the Gothic period like Syrlin, Riemenschneider and Duerer.
