Reconstruction, as you perhaps know, takes far more time than thought and planned. the following highlights from our treasure summarise the situation in 2012. Get an idea of the deep changes that have been done and let us know what you think. We continue our story so just wait for our next blogging.....

The barn was originally used to store hay and straw, the latter was still left since the last animals left about 40 years ago. A huge amount of manual work was necessary and every helping hand was very welcomed. the wooden structure was replaced by a new one, keeping the original construction technique. The complete floor had to be replaced and 20 tons of crushed rock had to be laid, partly manually.
