Ariel Vase by Ingeborg Lundin for Orrefors, Sweden

A heavy vase of the Orrefors Ariel series designed by Ingeborg Lundin, Sweden ca. 1950s. Colorless glass with a blue overlay, cooled, sandblasted with a geometrical pattern, re-heated and cased with colorless glass. This example dates to the 1970s. Signed with: "Orrefors Ariel No. 481-E-3, Ingeborg Lundin". An authentic piece of Midcentury Modern Scandinavian glass design. Good condition, inside the glass two fine hairlines caused by manufacturing - see pictures.
