A rare Venini jar in laguna glass with heart-shaped mouth and applied handle and foot in gold shaded ivory glass. Designed by Tomaso Buzzi for Venini, Murano Italy ca. 1932/33. The vase was named "Vaso a cuore" (heart shaped vase), Venini model number 3439, no signature detectable. This is a rare example of the iconic Laguna and Alba glasses made by fusing 5 to 7 very thin glass layers with included gold foil. Venini won the Grand Prix on the 5th Milan Trienale in 1933 with their presentation.
