A large 10 pointer black forest deer (Cervus elaphus) trophy from the palace of salem in south germany. Shoot by a member of the lordly family of Baden in 1978. Handwritten inscriptions on the skull with, place of the hunt, family crest and date. mounted on a wooden plaque with grass green finish good condition.
