Vintage Black Forest Deer Trophy from Salem - Germany, Altenau 1956

An uneven 10 pointer black forest deer (Cervus elaphus) trophy from the palace of Salem in South Germany. Shot by a member of the lordly family of Baden in 1956. There is a handwritten inscriptions on the skull with, place of the hunt, family crest and date. The trophy is mounted on a wooden plaque with dark green paint. It is in a good condition.
