Rare Just Andersen Art Deco bowl with a sitting bear in the center. Made of pewter with beautiful original old patina. Marked on the bottom with “Just” in a triangle, Denmark and model number 1480. A timeless piece of Danish Art Deco design. Good condition with slight signs of age-related wear.

Just Andersen (1884-1943) was a Danish sculptor and silversmith known for his designs in pewter, brass, copper, bronze and the disco metal he invented and was one of the most important Danish Art Deco designers. During his lifetime, he had his own showrooms in Berlin, London, Los Angeles, New York and London.
