A vintage school teaching glass display of the anthill of the red wood ant. It shows the hill and inhabitants thereof, the life inside the hill, the fellow creatures and the evolution of the ant. Used as teaching material in German schools in the 1930s-60s. The front of the case is made of glass, the other sides are made of wood.
