this electrical shop statue, so-called window knocker, was standing in a new york store in the 1930s. in activated state the boy moves his head, the eyes flash red, the left arm moves to a welcoming gesture and
the right hand knocks on the window to catch the attention of the passers-by. the head is made of papier-maché.

gorgeous garden sculpture with fallow deer 1910
an important terracotta garden sculpture designed by emil schaudt and manufactured by the majolica manufacture, karlsruhe in 1910. a baroque style fallow deer stag with flower pot on his back. this sculpture was originally designed for a tram station in hamburg. provenience: from the privat property of otto schefer, vice consul of uruguay. some small chips, flower pot inside broken out.
